Our Services
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty or period of change that has become hard to manage; at other times, you may have a sense that things aren’t quite right and want to understand yourself or your experiences better.
Therapy provides a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening and explore what might help. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing and consider practical ways forward that feel meaningful and manageable for you.
I typically work with adults (over 16) with a range of presentations including:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
• Relational difficulties
• Neurodiversity
• Trauma
• Self esteem issues
• Phobias
• Grief/loss
• Adjustment difficulties
• Intellectual disabilities
This is not an exhaustive list and should you wish to discuss what support you could be offered we can explore this together.
At this time therapeutic interventions are offered online.

An initial consultation call typically lasts around 15 minutes and gives you an opportunity to share a little about what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for support with, consider whether we might be able to help, and, if we’re not the right fit, suggest other options or services that may be more suitable.

Beginning Therapy
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially when you're experiencing distress. That’s why the most important foundation for any therapeutic work is feeling safe and having a strong, trusting relationship with your therapist.
Once you reach out, we’ll begin with a free 10–15 minute telephone consultation. This initial conversation is a chance for us to meet, discuss what’s brought you to therapy, and see whether we might be a good fit to work together.
If we agree to move forward, I’ll send you my engagement documents, which include terms and conditions, and we’ll arrange your first online appointment.
If I’m not the right person to support you, I’ll do my best to guide you to services that may be more suitable.

Your First Sessions
In our first session, we’ll begin exploring your current difficulties and how they’re affecting your life. I’ll also ask some general questions about your background to better understand your experiences in context.
A full assessment typically takes up to four sessions. During this time, we’ll work together to develop a shared understanding of the challenges you're facing - where they may have come from and how they’re being maintained - so that our work can be meaningful and tailored to you.

Ongoing Sessions
If you decide to continue with psychological therapy, we’ll arrange regular sessions to work together towards meaningful change. Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly, though we can adjust the frequency to suit your needs.
We’ll review your progress regularly to ensure the therapy remains helpful and aligned with your goals. Our work is collaborative - you are the expert on your own experiences. My role is to offer a supportive framework that helps make sense of what you’re going through, and to guide you in making lasting, positive changes.
